Join us for another Hike with Haverstraw event to explore the Ruins of the Cornish Estate.

Hidden deep in the woods at the base of Mount Taurus, just north of Cold Spring, lies the ruins of a once grand estate that is slowly being reclaimed by nature.

Industrialist, Edward Joel Cornish purchased the recently built luxurious compound for himself and his then newlywed wife Selina in 1917 and the rest is history....

We'll learn about the history of the property and the surrounding area while stopping for a bag lunch prepared by our friends at Deli Central.

1.8 Mile out & back hike. Skill Level: Easy

Please specify your choice of ham, turkey, chicken or tuna salad or fresh mozzarella with tomato when registering.

Parking is limited, especially on a Saturday morning, so PLEASE consider car-pooling. Thanks.
