Hike with Haverstraw - KAKIAT PARK

Explore this historic County Park, once of the original land patents from the King of England. Participate in Part 1 only, or add Part 2 for a more challenging hike. 

Part 1: Hike the Blauvelt family farm ruins, along the Mahwah River and through a grove of Hemlocks.  Distance: 1 mile, easy, but wooded terrain

Part 2: Hike further and enjoy two views of Manhattan and the foot of Harriman State Park. Distance: 2.15 miles, moderate/advanced, rocky uphill climb 

All hikers will sig a participation waiver prior to the event. Registration required.
