Marla Caplan returns to Haverstraw Library to do in-person and virtual chair yoga classes. You may come into the library or participate from home! All levels welcome, please bring a mat and a water bottle.

Join esthetician Camille Rosa for a rundown of all things beauty and a hands-on demonstration of eyebrow mapping and shaping. Registration required. For teens and tweens.

Stop in anytime between 4pm- 6pm to make a fun craft. Every week will be something new. We will use recycled materials as well as paper, paint, and glue so dress accordingly.

Backgammon is a game that combines both luck and skill. While chance plays a role in the dice rolls, Richard Duboff will show you strategic decisions that can significantly influence the outcome of the game. 

For ages 6 mos. to 4 years. Thursdays, June 4, 11, 18, 25. Zumbini is where the science of child development meets the magic of Zumba with Miss Tina! Registration opens May 28.

Join our book club for "New Adults" ( ages 18-30). We will be reading a variety of different genres ranging from Romance to Fantasy to Contemporary and beyond.

June 19 – History of the World Part I [1981]: R, 92m

For ages 6 -12. Giant checkers, giant Connect 4, giant fun! No registration. 

For ages 6-12. Create fun paper crafts with Damien. Registration begins May 24 for everyone.

For grades 4 to 6.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday by learning about the history in our own backyards!

For ages 5-8. Damien has a fun, playful, and engaging way to introduce children to the benefits of yoga, incorporating movement, breathing, and mindfulness in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for young learners.

Paint our windows and leave your mark. Approved designs only. Email teens@haverstrawlibrary.org with your name and a sketch/idea to register.
