For ages 6 -12. Giant checkers, giant Connect 4, giant fun! No registration. 

For ages 6 -12. Hang out and have fun playing video games on the Big Screen! No registration. 

Join us for a movie after the library is closed. Hang out, snack and have fun! Vote for the next movie in the teen room. Registration suggested. Doors close promptly at 5:30pm so you must in the Community Room before then.

For children 3-12. A phenomenal demonstration of traditional Chinese acrobatics by Li Liu! Don’t miss this gravity defying show! No registration.

Stop in anytime between 12pm- 4pm to make a fun craft. Every 4th Saturday of the month will be something new. We will use recycled materials as well as paper, paint, and glue so dress accordingly.

For ages 6-12. Create fun paper crafts with Damien. Registration begins April 26 for everyone.

For ages 5-8. Damien has a fun, playful, and engaging way to introduce children to the benefits of yoga, incorporating movement, breathing, and mindfulness in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for young learners.

For walkers only under 36 mos. old and their adults.  Stories, fingerplays, songs & bubbles!  Registration opens April 21.  Parent/Caregiver participation required.

Sensory fun with explorative and interactive play for ages 2-5!  Families welcome, no registration.

Need a quiet place to prep for the SAT or ACT? Drop in for a snack and have a productive study session.

Character Spotlight Series featuring...

For ages 3 - 5. Each week we'll have a fun activity just for you! We might use our imaginations to make a craft, use puppets or listen to some fun stories. No registration is required.

Marla Caplan returns to Haverstraw Library to do in-person and virtual chair yoga classes. You may come into the library or participate from home! All levels welcome, please bring a mat and a water bottle.

Join Librarian Tim to explore the early 20th Century philosophical, literary and art movement known as Surrealism. Delve into key artworks and the fascinating lives of some of the movement's main players.

Follow along with The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. One glass of wine (21+) or non-alcoholic beverage served. All materials provided.
