Read a book, hike the Long Path with us and discuss. Led by Librarian Elyse. 

Pick up your titles at the adult reference desk one month before each hike. 

Sensory fun with explorative and interactive play for ages 0-6!  Families welcome, no registration.

Join us at Peck's Pond to get some exercise. Bring a water bottle, good shoes and your energy! Participation waiver and registration required. Meet near the parking lot. Weather permitting.

For kids ages 5 and under. Come join us for a fun Halloween party! Dress up in your best Halloween costume! Come and make some Halloween crafts and have a few yummy Halloween treats! Registration opens October 1.

For ages 5 & up. Sign up for a 15 minute session to read one-on-one to a therapy dog! Registration is open for everyone. Call 845.786.3800 x 25 to register.

Marla Caplan returns to Haverstraw Library to do in-person and virtual chair yoga classes. You may come into the library or participate from home! All levels welcome, please bring a mat and a water bottle.

For ages 8-12. Damien has a fun, playful, and engaging way to introduce children to the benefits of yoga, incorporating movement, breathing, and mindfulness in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for young learners.

We’ll taste several different varieties of locally-grown apples and accompaniments while sipping some of the Hudson Valley’s finest hard ciders and more!

For ages 7-12. Kids crave adventure - and they have one in the MONSTER HUNT, where they work in teams and solve clues that lead to the monster's secret lair. No registration.
