Event Details

Boston Mine Short Loop Hike. This is a 3 mile hike classified as "Easy-Moderate." It definitely leans towards the easier side. Mostly even terrain with a couple steeps spots. The hike is in Harriman State Park. The address for your GPS is 1369 Kanawauke Rd., Southfields, NY 10975- we meet at 8:30am sharp and parking is extremely limited. Carpool when possible. We'll hike out to one of the 20 abandoned mines in Harriman State Park and learn a bit about the history of ore mining in our area.
