This history-rich hike will take you to the top of Jackie Jones Mountain and the 60 foot steel fire tower at its summit, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Hudson River and, if the day is clear, the New York City skyline. On the way, you’ll pass the ruins of the Orak mansion built in 1923 as the summer home of the Karo syrup company executive George Briggs Buchanan.
