NY Project Hope of Rockland is a free, anonymous and confidential service available to all Rockland County residents experiencing the impact the of the COVID-19 pandemic emotionally, financially, physically and/or economically. The Crisis Counseling program offers an emotional support hotline Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm which provides support, linkage to other organizations and a development of healthy coping mechanisms.
NY Project Hope has partnered with local agencies such as, food pantries, churches and schools to raise awareness on the importance of mental health during a global health crisis by implementing support groups, Zoom meetings and guided meditation practices. NY Project Hope's goal is to help those in distress develop a sense of resilience and empowerment over their situations through the assistance of trained crisis counselors who are here to listen and never to judge.
