Session One: Tarot Origin, Suit and Number Meanings & Seven-Card Answer Spread

Unlock the mysteries of the Tarot, a centuries-old fortune-telling system. Learn how cards meant for game playing are used for divination and meditation. Master Tarot reader and Magician Ron Cain teaches the meaning of the suits, numbers, and symbols. Students will learn the connection between an ordinary deck of cards and the Tarot.The suits of pentacles, cups, wands and swords will be examined.Students will also learn the origin of the Tarot and playing cards and begin to inspect the Minor Arcana.A simple layout “The Seven-Card Yes-Know Answer Spread” will be taught at the end of class. Via Zoom, registration required. You must have a Rider-Waite set of Tarot cards to participate.
